About Our Texas Art

Artist Christopher Mayes, a native Texan, created the beautiful original artwork found along our office gallery walls. Each of the nine framed pieces features the Texas flag and is part of The Flag Project, which Chris began six years ago. His varied interpretations of the Texas flag as fine art reflecting the Lone Star State’s complex and diverse history have been explored and expanded over the years, and can be found in private collections throughout the state. In Chris' words, "The work reflects the dynamic energy of a state that thrives on a modern edge while warmly embracing a legendary past."
